The HBF preferred provider schemes ceased to exist January 1, 2019, and HBF has introduced HBF Members Plus as a replacement.

The Port Kennedy Dental Group is now a Members Plus Dental Practice.

Members Plus Benefits

"From 1 January 2019, HBF will pay the same dollar benefit on all dental treatment regardless of the dental provider. Some dental providers, called Member Plus providers, have chosen to enter into an agreement to guarantee out-of-pocket expenses on Preventative dental treatment, which means a guaranteed 75%, 85% or 100% back*. Plus, eligible members receive one fully covered scale and clean at a Member Plus provider per calendar year. * Depends on level of Extras cover. Waiting periods and annual maximums may apply.

For dental treatment outside of the Preventative category, HBF can’t guarantee out-of-pocket expenses so please call us on 133 423 for an accurate benefit quote."

This is great news for HBF Members, who should experience less out of pocket expenses with dental treatment.
